Job Description
In this key leadership role within the international sales organization, you will significantly influence its ongoing development. The focus is on the professionalization and integration of all commercial activities - from pricing strategy and application engineering to marketing, sales, and the digital transformation of the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop international sales units and senior leaders across multiple regions
- Build and implement a holistic Commercial Excellence program - including analysis, action planning, and full accountability for results
- Develop differentiated, market-oriented pricing strategies and oversee global initiatives
- Drive digital processes in marketing, lead management, and customer experience
- Leverage and expand market, customer, and competitor data to support strategic direction
- Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team on key company-wide initiatives
- Ensure a strong pipeline for profitable new business and sustainable growth
- Promote a customer-centric, value-based sales approach
- Degree in business, engineering, or natural sciences or equivalent
- Many years of experience in international commercial leadership roles within an industrial B2B environment (e.g. chemicals, materials, mechanical engineering)
- Proven track record in a senior sales leadership position
- Successful leadership of large-scale transformation and change programs
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven decision-making
- Confident use of modern sales and project management tools and methodologies
- Digital fluency paired with a high level of innovation ambition
- Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and strong intercultural sensitivity
- International experience and an inspiring leadership style
- High willingness to travel
