Accountabilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruiting for niche technical roles, primarily in geology and geophysics
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and company leadership to align hiring priorities
- Proactively source candidates through creative and non-traditional channels
- Translate complex job specs into effective sourcing and outreach strategies
- Drive an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Advise executives on recruitment strategies, talent market trends, and pipeline progress
- Coordinate offer processes and ensure smooth transitions to onboarding
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and reporting practices
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally for technical or scientific roles
- Proven ability to understand and synthesize complex scientific or technical information
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience advising senior stakeholders
- Prior background in science or a degree in a scientific field is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive mindset in past roles
- Experience working with distributed teams and supporting remote hiring processes
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to track performance metrics and manage priorities
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada
- Base salary range: $130,000-$210,000 USD (dependent on experience and location)
