Position Title: Genetic Counselor

POSITION OVERVIEW
Client , is seeking an experienced Genetic Counselor to provide remote infertility and reproductive genetic counseling services to clinics across the United States. This is a full-time, remote contract role created to support the team during a maternity leave, with potential for extension beyond the initial assignment.
The Genetic Counselor will serve as a key clinical resource for reproductive specialists and patients, delivering both test results and comprehensive counseling sessions. The role offers the opportunity to work within a large, collaborative team of genetic counselors and medical geneticists while contributing to process improvement, education, and research initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide remote-based infertility and reproductive genetic counseling to clinics nationwide
- Deliver genetic test results and conduct comprehensive counseling sessions with patients
- Serve as a genetic counseling resource for reproductive specialists supporting a diverse patient population
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of genetic counselors and medical geneticists
- Identify opportunities to enhance patient experience and contribute to process improvements
- Participate in educational and research initiatives as opportunities arise
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling (required)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional genetic counseling experience
Skills
- Strong clinical counseling and patient communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Comfort working with reproductive and infertility-focused cases
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of genetic counseling experience
- Board Certification in Genetic Counseling
- Prior experience in reproductive genetics or infertility counselin
