Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a General Manager at HS Hanseatic Shipbrokers GmbH. The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, develop and implement business strategies, manage client relationships, and lead the team to achieve organizational goals. The role also involves financial planning, operational oversight, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations while fostering effective communication within the company and with external stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and stakeholder interactions.
- Solid understanding of operational processes and a track record of improving organizational efficiency.
- Experience in the shipping or logistics industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and aptitude for making data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms relevant to business management and operations.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are an asset.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working remotely and managing distributed teams is a plus.
