Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Full Stack (Web) Developer. The developer will collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain robust and secure (web) applications as well as tools that help support our market goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include front-end and back-end development, implementing software solutions, improving system performance, ensuring a seamless user experience, implementing DevSecOps, and creating sustainable solutions using infrastructure as code and Docker. The role also involves debugging existing code and staying updated on the latest technologies to enhance our systems.
In addition you'll be asked to help develop internal projects and tools with a focus on CUDA/OpenCL, distributed computing, and Cryptography.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Full-Stack Development using React and Laravel (tailwind UI is a plus)
- Experience with Front-End Design
- Experience using Docker, working with Linux environments, and Github
- Strong foundation in Software Development, ensuring high-quality and efficient code in Golang (microservices and tools). Optionally using AI as a tool but knowing exactly what you write, and what it does. We will heavily filter out vibe-coding.
- Experience with cryptography is an optional plus
- Ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative team environment
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Requirements
- EU Citizen, preferably Netherlands and okay with being subject to VOG or VGB-B background checks
- Proficient in English both in typing and speaking. Most of our communication happens in chat.
- Experience with React, Laravel, and GoLang
- Know what a vulnerabilities can affect your code and how to mitigate against them.
- Familiar with authentication and authorization paradigms
- Be capable of taking control over a project by yourself with feedback & support from the team.
Soft Requirements
- CUDA/OpenCL development experience
- Cryptography experience and basic understanding of how BIP39, SLIP39, BIP44 etc operate
Bonus
- Proficient in Dutch
- Familiar working with Asana
- Experience hosting websites, maintaining architecture, patching, logging, monitoring, etc.
- Experience creating CI/CD pipelines
