Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional web development experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in React.js and associated libraries such as Redux, React Router, Zustand, and Recoil
- Strong expertise in PHP and frameworks like Laravel or Symfony; experience with Perl or Python is a plus
- Solid understanding of web standards, APIs, REST, XML, and JSON
- Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases, preferably MySQL
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset
- Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with design patterns is advantageous
- Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional team to meet organizational goals and deliverables
- Develop and implement user-facing features using React.js and related libraries
- Make informed design decisions and tradeoffs within the codebase to optimize performance and usability
- Build reusable, efficient, and scalable front-end components and libraries
- Translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality, responsive code that enhances user experience
- Apply user empathy to inform development and design choices
- Work closely with QA teams to identify and mitigate regression risks
- Proactively address bugs, performance issues, and UI inconsistencies to ensure seamless application operation
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, supporting continuous improvement
- Communicate effectively across teams, providing updates and raising risks early
- Manage complex tasks independently, delivering high-quality results within set deadlines
- Produce accurate estimates and contribute to project planning and execution
