Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in web development
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in React.js and related libraries (Redux, React Router, Zustand, Recoil)
- Strong expertise in PHP and frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony; experience with Perl or Python is a plus
- Solid understanding of web standards, RESTful APIs, XML, JSON, and related technologies
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases, preferably MySQL
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset
- Experience with Agile methodologies is desirable
- Familiarity with design patterns is a plus
- Collaborate within agile, cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives
- Develop user-facing features using React.js and related libraries such as Redux, React Router, Zustand, and Recoil
- Make informed design decisions and tradeoffs within the codebase to optimize performance and usability
- Contribute to the codebase with minimal supervision, building reusable and scalable components
- Translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality, responsive code
- Utilize user empathy to inform development and design choices
- Coordinate with QA teams to ensure high-quality releases and advise on regression risks
- Proactively identify and resolve bugs, UI inconsistencies, and performance issues
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent visual design across platforms
- Optimize applications for scalability and performance
- Identify potential risks early and communicate effectively across teams
- Own complex tasks from inception to deployment, delivering high-quality work within deadlines
- Estimate effort accurately and manage workload efficiently
- Navigate technical roadblocks collaboratively and seek innovative solutions
