Join an ongoing project editing engaging YouTube videos focused on music production, software walkthroughs, hardware demos, and advocacy content for the rare disease community. You will collaborate with an experienced creator who values clear briefs and understands the editing process. The role involves transforming raw footage into polished, well-paced videos, typically 10–15 minutes in length, including screen recordings, talking head segments, and occasional Shorts. This is a long-term opportunity for someone passionate about music production and video editing, looking to build a consistent workflow and portfolio.

Deliverables

• Edit and assemble raw footage into cohesive YouTube videos (10–15 minutes)
• Combine multiple video streams, including DAW screen recordings and talking head footage
• Create Shorts or clips from longer videos as needed
• Add accurate captions and subtitles where possible
• Optimize videos for YouTube export and upload
• Provide DaVinci Resolve project files for further tweaks
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or similar NLE software
• Experience editing music-related or tutorial content for YouTube
• Strong sense of pacing and storytelling, especially for educational content
• Ability to edit screen recordings and synchronize with audio
• Attention to detail with captions, subtitles, and video optimization
• Excellent communication skills and reliability for ongoing collaboration
• Interest in music production, audio gear, or music software is highly desirable
