Responsibilities
- Create detailed storyboards that capture the tone, pacing, and visual style of a horror/mystery series
- Collaborate with writers, directors, and animators to translate scripts into compelling visual sequences
- Incorporate feedback to refine storyboards and enhance narrative clarity
- Ensure consistency with the series’ retro neon aesthetic and small-town atmosphere
- Work with the music and audio team to synchronize visual and audio cues for maximum impact
- Meet project deadlines and maintain open communication with the production team
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in storyboarding for animation, preferably in horror or mystery genres
- Proficiency in digital illustration and storyboard software (e.g., Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, or similar)
- Solid understanding of cinematic composition, pacing, and visual storytelling techniques
- Ability to interpret scripts and visualize complex scenes with clarity and creativity
- Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Interest in 1980s aesthetics and horror themes is a plus
