This role involves creating additional illustrations for a children’s book, ensuring the new artwork matches the whimsical and engaging style of Bonnie Lemaire. The project is a single assignment for a personal book, with all work to be completed remotely over the next couple of months. The illustrator will collaborate closely to ensure the visuals complement the existing content and maintain a cohesive look throughout the book.

Deliverables

• Produce high-quality, original illustrations in the style of Bonnie Lemaire
• Adapt artwork to fit the tone and themes of a children’s book
• Deliver digital files in required formats and resolutions
• Revise illustrations based on feedback to ensure consistency with existing artwork

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating children’s book illustration, ideally in a whimsical or playful style
• Ability to closely match an established illustration style (Bonnie Lemaire)
• Proficiency in digital illustration tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate)
• Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback
• Comfortable working independently and remotely
