We work with everyone from high-growth startups to large enterprises across the US and Canada.
We're looking for a freelance designer to create print-ready postcard designs for client campaigns. You'll work on a project basis as campaigns come in, translating client brand guidelines and messaging into eye-catching, conversion-driven postcards built for print. This is a hands-on production design role for someone who understands print constraints and knows how to make a postcard stand out in a mailbox.
- Design print-ready postcards (typically 4x6 and 6x9 formats) that follow USPS mailing specifications.
- Work within client brand guidelines to create designs that are on-brand and conversion-focused.
- Prepare files with proper bleed, trim, safe zones, CMYK color, and appropriate resolution (300 DPI minimum).
- Incorporate variable data elements like personalized names, QR codes, offers, and product recommendations into layouts.
- Turn around designs quickly as campaigns come in, with revisions based on client and internal feedback.
- Maintain a library of reusable templates that can be adapted across clients and campaigns.
- Strong portfolio of print design work, ideally including direct mail, postcards, or similar marketing collateral.
- Deep understanding of print production best practices: bleed, safe zones, CMYK, DPI, file formats, and postal regulations.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop.
- Ability to balance strong visual design with clear messaging and calls to action.
- Comfortable working on a per-project basis with quick turnarounds.
- Responsive communicator who can take feedback and iterate fast.
- Experience designing for variable data printing or personalized mail.
- Familiarity with USPS or Canada Post mailing specifications.
- Experience working with e-commerce or DTC brands.
Send your portfolio and a short note about your experience with print design to us. Bonus points if you can share examples of direct mail or postcard work.
