Founding Engineer equity package (no salary at MVP stage)
You will own the technical architecture and full development of the MVP in close collaboration with the founder. This includes:
Core Responsibilities
- Full-stack development (frontend + backend + infrastructure)
- Creation of a scalable MVP
- Implementation of user authentication and secure role systems
- Integration of AI (OpenAI API)
- Database design
- Deployment & CI/CD workflow
- Later: preparing the foundation for a future engineering team
Required Skills
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with either Next.js, React, Node.js, or similar frameworks
- Strong backend experience (Express, FastAPI, NestJS or equivalent)
- Solid database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Supabase preferred)
- Experience with authentication (Auth0, Supabase Auth, Firebase Auth, etc.)
- Strong API integration skills
- Comfortable deploying to Vercel, Replit, or traditional cloud providers
- Understanding of UI/UX best practices
- Experience with AI tools (OpenAI, LangChain)
- Experience building SaaS products
- Experience with mapping libraries
- DevOps / Docker knowledge
