About us

Aivory is an AI-first practice management system replacing legacy software in dentistry. We're rebuilding the EPD from scratch โ€” with AI at the core. Not an AI wrapper on top of an old system, but a fully new platform where intelligence sits inside every workflow.

Our first major clients are live. The pipeline is growing fast. And we're looking for someone who will help define the AI direction of the product.


What you'll do

You'll own everything AI at Aivory. You decide what we build, how we build it, and when it's good enough to ship. No manager telling you what to do โ€” you are the owner.

Examples of what's on your plate:


  • Ambient AI โ€” speech-to-record, intent detection, and auto-generated referral letters from treatment conversations
  • Smart document pipelines that turn clinical context into structured output
  • Eval infrastructure so we know when models are production-ready
  • Designing and building new AI features end-to-end โ€” from idea to live


What we're looking for

We don't care about degrees or years of experience. We want to see that you can build things. Show us that โ€” in whatever way you can โ€” and you're in.


  • You've shipped LLM-powered products that actually work in production (not just local demos)
  • Strong grasp of evals, prompt engineering, RAG, function calling and knowing when to use which
  • Comfortable making technical decisions independently without everything being defined upfront
  • You thrive in chaos โ€” startup ambiguity gives you energy, not anxiety
  • You take ownership: if something's broken, you fix it; if something can be better, you say so
