Position: Detectives and Criminal Investigators – AI Trainer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $20 – $75/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Assess crime scenes and check victims for vital signs, ensuring appropriate immediate actions are taken.
- Obtain and document statements from complainants, witnesses, and suspects using digital recording and documentation tools.
- Secure crime scenes, preserve evidence, and manage procedures until appropriate authorities or medical examiners arrive.
- Maintain comprehensive investigative records, track suspect files, and prepare detailed reports for review.
- Utilize investigative databases and crime scene management tools to manage evidence and case information.
- Support AI model development by providing expert insights into investigative processes and case management workflows.
- Perform digital image management and analysis to enhance crime scene documentation and reconstruction processes.
Requirements
- Proficiency with National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database and DataWorks Plus Digital CrimeScene.
- Strong experience using Microsoft Access, MySQL, and Microsoft Outlook or similar communication platforms.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Design 3D Eyewitness, and digital image or graphics management solutions.
- Working knowledge of ESRI ArcView or other GIS tools for mapping and spatial analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for accurate reporting and collaboration.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive investigative information responsibly.
- Thorough understanding of investigative procedures and evidence preservation standards.
