As we expand, we’re seeking a highly analytical and entrepreneurial Financial Analyst to help us understand performance, optimize growth, and support strategic decision-making across the business.
Role Overview
The Financial Analyst will work closely with Cookwise’s leadership team to help drive smart, data-informed growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating in a fast-moving startup environment and wants exposure to both finance and strategy. You will help evaluate business performance, build forecasts, analyze key growth levers, and support decisions across revenue, marketing, product, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Analysis: Analyze user growth, customer behavior, revenue trends, retention, and other key business metrics to help identify opportunities and risks.
Forecasting and Planning: Build and maintain financial forecasts that support company growth goals, hiring plans, product investments, and overall business strategy.
Financial Modeling: Create models for scenario planning, pricing strategy, customer acquisition, lifetime value, and other key startup decisions.
Unit Economics: Monitor and evaluate CAC, LTV, margins, payback periods, and other core metrics to help improve business efficiency and scalability.
Strategic Decision Support: Partner with leadership on growth initiatives, partnerships, monetization opportunities, and long-term planning.
Reporting and Dashboards: Prepare clear, actionable reports and dashboards that track company performance and communicate insights to leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, operations, and leadership teams to measure results and support high-impact initiatives.
Process Improvement: Help build scalable finance and reporting processes that can grow with the company.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field required.
2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, startup finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related field preferred.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience working with growth metrics, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with dashboards, BI tools, and startup KPI reporting is a plus.
Ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations for business leaders.
Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
