For our client, a small and agile international company based in Switzerland, we are looking for a hands-on and tech-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the finance function in a fully remote setup.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of accounting in a dynamic environment and is comfortable using modern digital and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency and processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
- Support and independently prepare monthly and yearly closings
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation
- Assist with reporting, reconciliations, and ad-hoc finance tasks
- Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, or service providers when required
Your Profile
- Several years of experience in a broad accounting role within SMEs or international environments
- Full understanding of bookkeeping, AP/AR processes, and financial closings
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setup
- Strong digital mindset and interest in automation, AI tools, and modern finance technologies
- Fluent English required; German is a plus
