Reporting to CFO of Sweden The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning:
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts with close communication with asset managers/TCMA suppliers.
- Monitor financial performance against budget.
Finance Management and Shareholder Management:
- Be responsible for updating short-term and long-term financial models of the windfarms, including do the calculations for the cash sweep.
- Organize the frequent meetings with lenders and shareholders to report on the performance of the windfarms, assisting with the explanations when the lenders and shareholders have questions regarding the operation/performance.
- Coordinate and organize meetings between the lenders and asset managers, electricity trade department and other departments when necessary or the lenders and shareholders required.
- Fulfill other works to ensure all the covenants in the finance agreements will be obeyed, e.g. work with team to prepare the monthly report, prepare the compliance certificate, etc.
- Prepare windfarm monthly management operational report to shareholders.
- share relevant files with bank lenders and shareholders.
Cash flow & Treasury:
- Prepare cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Monitor and conduct the debt service repayments.
- Oversee daily treasury works, check and approve payments through online bank portal.
Other:
- Assist in annual auditing and internal auditing.
- Participate in the quarterly board meeting and prepare material for the financial related issues.
- Other add hoc works.
Qualifications
Master’s in finance, accounting, business or equivalent
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in finance;
Previous work experience in project finance will be preferred.
Required Skills
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Experience with IFRS, Swedish accounting standards (K3/K2);
Pack Office, ERP (Visma, etc),
Detail-oriented, analytical, Communication and Team work
Languages
Bilingual: English and Swedish
