We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team at AirHub - a brand new role where you'll be responsible for all things finance. From building investor dashboards and supporting leadership decisions to managing our financial systems, you'll be the go-to finance person as we scale our life-saving drone technology.

Currently AirHub counts 20 employees working across development, operations, and commercial functions. Your role
As our first Finance Business Partner, you'll own all aspects of finance at AirHub. You'll create dashboards for our board and investors, manage and optimize our financial systems, and automate our finance operations. Your work will provide the leadership team with the data-driven insights they need to make strategic decisions and prepare for future growth.
You will:
- Support the leadership team with strategic financial insights and data-driven decision-making;
- Build dashboards internally and for our investors, showing key metrics: ARR, MRR, gross margin, budget vs. actuals, P&L, LTV, CAC, burn rate, and runway;
- Manage all financial systems: HubSpot (CRM), MoneyBird (invoicing), and Exact Online (bookkeeping);
- Automate financial workflows to eliminate manual processes and improve efficiency;
- Oversee the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations;
- Prepare fundraising materials and support the leadership team in future investment rounds;
- Create financial models and forecasts to support growth planning and investment scenarios;
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping operations and ensure accurate financial records.
What will make me successful in this role:
- 5+ years of hands-on finance experience, ideally in a scale-up or high-growth tech company;
- Proven track record building financial dashboards and reports for executives and investors;
- Experience working with VCs or preparing materials for fundraising rounds;
- Strong proficiency with financial systems: Exact Online (or similar ERP), HubSpot, MoneyBird, or comparable tools;
- Self-starter mentality who can work independently and take ownership of the entire finance function;
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English;
- Knowledge of Dutch tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Bonus points:
- Accounting experience or background in financial operations;
- Background in B2B SaaS or enterprise software companies;
- Familiarity with financial data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Metabase);
- Prior experience as the first finance hire at a startup.
