TAPP Film is a digital platform transforming how films get discovered and distributed.
Through TAPP Streaming, we solve one of the biggest problems in the industry: access to distribution. Unlike traditional platforms, TAPP Film uses an audience-driven film competition to determine which films receive distribution, putting the power back in the hands of creators and audiences.
We’re looking for a filmmaker who is obsessed with visual storytelling. Someone who can translate our vision into compelling videos, reels, and images that clearly communicate what TAPP Film is building and why it matters to film professionals worldwide.
Applications are welcome from individual filmmakers or production companies. The role starts as a contractor engagement, with strong performance-based opportunities to transition into a full-time employee role within a few months for individual candidates, and long-term collaboration opportunities for production companies.
- Create, produce, direct and edit platform-optimized content for social media, including short-form videos, reels, and simple visual designs (thumbnails, key visuals, social graphics)
- Handle post-production editing for marketing and brand storytelling
- Translate complex ideas (film distribution, competition-based selection, platform mechanics) into clear, engaging visual narratives
- Use VFX, motion graphics, and advanced post-production techniques to elevate content
- Collaborate closely with the TAPP Film team to define and evolve the brand’s visual identity
- Adapt and optimize content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms
- Maintain a strong, professional, film-industry-level aesthetic across all deliverables
- An individual filmmaker or a production company with a strong creative vision
- You have a professional demo reel (required)
- You bring a marketing mindset and understand how visuals drive engagement
- You’re experienced with VFX and modern post-production workflows
- You know Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro / After Effects / Photoshop), and can create or enhance visual assets
- You understand social media platforms, trends, and formats, and know how to tailor visuals and edit for performance
- You’re comfortable creating simple designs and visual assets to support video content
- You are a director with strong storytelling skills
- You’re reliable, collaborative, and comfortable working remotely
