Position: Film Editor
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $15 - $65/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into cohesive, high-quality video content.
- Review and sequence footage for narrative clarity, pacing, and continuity.
- Collaborate with editors and project teams to ensure consistency and quality.
- Provide detailed feedback to improve video datasets for AI training.
- Communicate effectively with team members on progress and requirements.
- Utilize professional editing tools to deliver polished outputs within deadlines.
- Adapt to evolving project needs and incorporate feedback efficiently.
Requirements
- Native-level English proficiency with strong communication skills.
- Strong experience in professional video or film editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and post-production workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and narrative storytelling skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and feedback skills.
