The role
DeterTech is looking for a Field Engineer to install, maintain and remove battery‑operated security solutions at customer sites. This is a field‑based, customer‑facing role covering construction, infrastructure, utilities and vacant property sites across southern Sweden.
This role is ideal for someone looking to take a clear step up and grow into a broader operational or planning role over time.

Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, maintain and remove security solutions on customer sites
- Communicate clearly with site managers and the DeterTech ARC
- Carry out battery maintenance, basic reconfiguration, cleaning and servicing
- Ensure equipment is deployed, secured and tested correctly
- Minimise false alarms through careful installation and maintenance
- Load and manage equipment, parts and spares in the company vehicle
- Train customers and end‑users on correct use of equipment
- Represent DeterTech professionally on site at all times
Essential
- Fluent Swedish (spoken and written)
- Full Swedish driving licence
- Comfortable working independently in a field‑based role
- Positive, customer‑focused attitude
- Technical interest and willingness to learn
- Lives within commuting distance of Malmö / west coast corridor
- Experience in field service, installations, telecoms, electronics or similar
- Experience working on construction or industrial sites
- Basic understanding of wiring or electronics
- Company vehicle and fuel card (business use)
