Redstone Search Group are working with a commodity trading house who are looking to hire two fertilizer traders to join their global trading team.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- You will be responsible for building and developing a global fertilizer trading portfolio (nitrogen, urea, compound fertilizers, phosphates etc.)
- Utilise the company’s current production and supply of ammonium sulphate out of Asia
- Market and sell ammonium sulphate to a network of clients across West and / or East Africa
- Develop strong relationships with both buyers and suppliers in the wider fertilizer space (nitrogen, compound fertilizers, phosphates etc.)
- Role reports to Commercial Director
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Minium of 5 years’ experience in a fertilizer trading, marketing or sales position
- Transferable portfolio of clients, both suppliers and buyers is preferred
- Poven positive PnL record
- Strong relationship management, origination and negotiation skills
- Ability to work remotely and travel frequently to meet with clients, counterparts, visit conference’s, production facilities etc.
