About The Role
The Executive Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the senior leadership team, specifically the Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of executive activities. The role involves managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings and communications, and handling highly confidential information with the utmost professionalism and discretion. Serving as a trusted partner, the Executive Assistant anticipates the needs of the executives, prioritizes competing demands, and supports strategic initiatives and projects. The position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to foster strong internal collaboration. This role is primarily remote-centric with a hybrid work schedule, offering flexibility to accommodate business needs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed, based on business requirements.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, and to prepare correspondence and reports effectively.
- Act as the primary administrative point of contact between the executives and internal/external stakeholders, including the AMSURG Board of Directors.
- Manage and coordinate complex calendars, schedule meetings, and conference calls, ensuring optimal time management.
- Prepare and support high-level meetings, including agenda setting, presentation preparation, and follow-up actions.
- Plan and coordinate small events and meetings as necessary.
- Handle highly confidential and time-sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
- Manage executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails, and drafting correspondence.
- Arrange travel logistics and accommodations for executives and coordinate with other team members accordingly.
- Prepare expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
- Draft and review routine and complex business correspondence, reports, and memoranda.
- Assist with non-disclosure agreements and maintain supporting logs for confidential projects.
- Establish, develop, and maintain organized filing systems, both physical and electronic.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior leadership.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance to ensure consistent support and operational continuity.
