Role Overview:

We’re hiring an Executive Assistant to work directly with the founder, with the opportunity to evolve into a Chief of Staff–type role over time.


This is not a traditional EA role. You will act as a central operator and buffer, helping the founder stay focused, organized, and executing at a high level while ensuring projects, communications, and priorities stay on track.


The role begins with high-impact administrative ownership (email, scheduling, prioritization), but will quickly expand into operational oversight, project tracking, and internal coordination.


What You’ll Own:

  • Review and manage the founder’s inbox, identifying key priorities and action items
  • Create a weekly action plan to help structure priorities and execution
  • Track ongoing projects and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Follow up on tasks across the business to maintain accountability and momentum
  • Support scheduling, coordination, and logistics related to events and operations
  • Act as a central point of coordination for internal communication when needed
  • Run weekly check-ins with the founder to review progress, gaps, and upcoming priorities
  • Gradually take ownership of more operational responsibilities over time


What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years experience in high-detail, fast-moving environments (hospitality, events, Airbnb, catering, logistics-heavy businesses preferred)
  • Strong ability to organize chaos and bring structure to ambiguous workflows
  • Excellent written communication and ability to synthesize information into clear action plans
  • High level of ownership, follow-through, and accountability
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage competing inputs
  • Ability to proactively identify gaps and prevent things from slipping through the cracks
  • Calm, steady presence when managing a founder with a fast-moving and nonlinear working style


Ideal Background:

  • Executive Assistant, Operations Coordinator, or Project Manager experience
  • Background in hospitality, events, Airbnb, or logistics-heavy environments
  • Experience supporting founders or small teams in early-stage environments
  • Interest in growing into an operations lead or Chief of Staff role over time


What Success Looks Like (First 30–60 Days):

  • Founder has a clear, structured weekly plan and priorities
  • Inbox is organized and actionable items are consistently surfaced
  • Active projects are tracked and progressing without constant follow-up from the founder
  • Fewer things fall through the cracks across the business
  • Increased clarity, organization, and operational momentum


Role Details:

  • ~5 hours per week to start
  • Remote
  • $35–$40/hour
  • 1099 contractor role
  • Opportunity to grow into a Chief of Staff–type position with expanded scope
