This role is responsible for planning, executing, and managing high-quality in-person and virtual events that create meaningful experiences for a global professional community. The Events Manager will oversee end-to-end event delivery, from ideation and budgeting to logistics, vendor management, and post-event analysis. This position collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and executive-level participants to ensure events align with organizational goals and standards. Success in this role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex projects under tight timelines. The manager will also leverage technology and data to optimize event performance, enhance attendee engagement, and drive strategic outcomes for the organization.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, design, and execution of in-person and virtual events, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and best practices
  • Manage event budgets ranging from USD 50k to USD 2M, proactively identifying and mitigating financial or operational risks
  • Coordinate logistics including accommodations, transportation, food and beverage, AV, and event materials
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Develop marketing and communication plans to maximize registration and engagement before, during, and after events
  • Facilitate post-event evaluations, archiving documentation, and applying learnings to future events
  • Support virtual event production, including platform management and content coordination

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing multi-day, multi-type events, preferably in corporate, association, or membership environments
  • 3+ years collaborating with C-suite executives and managing multiple stakeholders
  • 2+ years’ experience planning and executing virtual events
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reconciliation for domestic and international events
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills with a professional presence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in event management software such as Cvent or Salesforce preferred
  • Certifications such as CMP, PMP, or Virtual Event/Digital Event Strategist are a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel 30–50% domestically and internationally as required
