SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Develop and coordinate new business and maintain existing business with established customers, distributors, and OEM’s. Individual will be focused on increasing WPT Power’s market share while achieving financial growth within the European region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a marketing/sales strategy for the European region, including specific objectives and revenuegoals.
- Implements growth strategies by executing implementation plans and identifying and recommendingcourse corrections when necessary.
- Tracks and reports progress on opportunities including documentation of prospecting efforts,identification of new projects and the status of projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key Distributors, OEM’s, and special accounts.
- Make sales visits to customer and distributor locations to understand customer business needs,identify product opportunities, and provide occasional product training.
- Ensures contacts receive marketing literature and price catalogs; answers any questions and obtainsany further information necessary for customers.
- Assists customers with ordering information and configurations; provides quotation on customerrequirements and provides appropriate follow up.
- Closes actual sales on quotations and forward to Customer Service as needed.
- Identify geographical and industry coverage gaps; analyzes and prioritizes options; ramps up newchannel partners following the established process.
- Assist WPT sales representatives and distributors with sales calls, product questions, unique ordifficult issues as necessary.
- Prepares call activity reports, submits sales forecasts, and is responsible for determining revenuepotential for the European region.
- Provide input relative to new products and design requests to meet industry and customer demands.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively engages in trade shows and conferences to develop and sustain business relationshipsand opportunities.
- Develop strategies to achieve organizational goals; understand organizations strengths andweaknesses; analyzes market and competition while adapting the growth strategy to the changingconditions.
- Works as a member of the team.
- Performs other assignments or duties as required.
