We’re looking for freelance writers and copywriters to collaborate with The Knot Worldwide’s international market in Europe to provide project-based content support across a range of B2B marketing campaigns. We’re expanding our network of contributors to create high-quality content within the wedding vendor space.
This contract for services opportunity is suited to independent professionals operating as freelance businesses (e.g. limited companies or sole traders).
Campaign briefs will be assigned monthly by the International Creative Lead, depending on workload and content needs, so the volume of work may vary from month to month. There is no fixed volume of work, and there are no fixed weekly deadlines, but there will be pre-determined copy work to be delivered each month, delivering outputs rather than working as part of the team
The International Creative Lead will assign all content, on a per-project or per-deliverable basis, and this will primarily focus on marketing copy for various channels like paid media and own channels (within the Bodas and Hitched brands and vendor storefronts) and formats like emails, landing pages and social copy. This includes evergreen wedding content (trends, business tips and advice, inspiration for wedding vendors, and the like).
We’re looking for someone who:
- Operates as an independent freelance writer with multiple clients.
- Has proven experience writing for online media in lifestyle, fashion, or beauty as a freelancer.
- Has experience in the wedding industry (a huge plus).
- Has experience creating affiliate content and is familiar with affiliate platforms.
- Is comfortable working independently and managing ad-hoc assignments.
- Has a fluent English with excellent writing skills.
- Can produce well-structured, engaging content for a variety of B2B-facing channels
- SEO knowledge is a plus.
- Has their own equipment and resources.
