Position: Equity Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented and intellectually curious Equity Analyst to join our investment team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research and analysis on publicly traded companies across North America, with a focus on long-term, value-driven investment recommendations. This role involves financial modeling, industry research, and active monitoring of market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fundamental analysis of publicly traded companies with enterprise values ranging from $500 million to $20 billion
- Develop and present long-term, value-oriented investment theses supported by financial models, reports, and presentations
- Build and maintain financial models, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and monitor valuation metrics
- Stay current on relevant market news, price movements, earnings releases, and industry trends
- Analyze consumer data and integrate findings into trading and valuation models
Qualifications:
- Up to 5 years of direct experience generating P&L impact as a buy-side or sell-side equity analyst
- Strong background in covering the Technology, Healthcare, and Consumer sectors
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar tools
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly
- Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated passion for value investing and fundamental research
