Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Environmental and HSE Management Systems at both project and site level in accordance with internal policies, ISO 14001 standards, contractual requirements, and applicable local legislation.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of Environmental Management Plans across all project phases, including the management of waste, water, chemicals, emissions, spill prevention, and protection of sensitive environments.
- Manage environmental permitting activities, ensuring compliance with permit conditions, monitoring requirements, and reporting obligations.
- Support site and construction teams through inspections, audits, and environmental walkthroughs, ensuring contractor and subcontractor compliance with environmental standards.
- Promote environmental awareness and a strong site culture by delivering training, toolbox talks, and engagement initiatives.
- Monitor environmental performance through data collection, KPI tracking, and reporting, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Provide technical guidance on environmental legislation, sustainability, and climate-related strategies, as well as support incident investigations and emergency preparedness activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in environmental roles, preferably in construction or commissioning environments
- Languages: Swedish and English
- Certifications: NEBOSH or equivalent
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of local environmental regulations and HSE compliance
