Role Description The Entry Level Information Technology Specialist is a full-time remote role that supports TRIG Collective’s internal systems and digital infrastructure. This role includes monitoring and maintaining networks, assisting with basic system administration tasks, and installing or updating software and hardware as needed. The specialist will troubleshoot technical issues for team members, respond to help desk requests, and escalate complex problems appropriately. Daily responsibilities also involve supporting network security practices, managing user accounts and permissions, and providing clear, friendly technical assistance to non-technical users. The role collaborates with the creative and account teams to ensure technology tools run smoothly and securely, enabling efficient delivery of client work.
Qualifications
  • Foundational knowledge of Information Technology concepts and systems, including operating systems, hardware, and cloud-based tools.
  • Ability to assist with Network Administration and basic Network Security tasks, such as user access management and routine monitoring.
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve common software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
  • Customer Service orientation, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and respectfully to diverse team members.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools and remote work environments (e.g., video conferencing, project management platforms).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work both independently and as part of a distributed team.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar entry-level credentials are a plus.
