A role in the Creative Design & Services sector supporting digital product and e-commerce analytics. This is a fully remote, United States-based opportunity for an entry-level analyst to join a design-focused team that leverages data to inform product, marketing, and customer experience decisions.
Role & Responsibilities
Benefits & Culture Highlights
Role & Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis (ETL best practices, data validation).
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports that track key metrics for product and marketing performance using Tableau, Power BI, and visualization libraries (matplotlib, seaborn).
- Write SQL queries (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery) and Python scripts (pandas, NumPy) to extract, transform, and prepare data for ad-hoc analyses and recurring reports; optimize queries and document data models.
- Perform quantitative and statistical analysis (hypothesis testing, regression analysis, A/B testing) to identify trends, user behaviour patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Automate routine reporting processes and create reproducible workflows using Python, Jupyter notebooks, and version control (Git) to increase team efficiency.
- Leverage Excel for quick analysis and stakeholder-ready summaries (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, advanced formulas) when appropriate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, marketing) to translate business questions into measurable analytics tasks and present insights through clear data visualizations and storytelling.
- Microsoft Excel (advanced: pivot tables, complex formulas, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP).
- SQL (proficient in writing joins, aggregations, window functions; familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or BigQuery).
- Python (experience with pandas, NumPy; comfortable building reproducible scripts and working in Jupyter notebooks).
- Tableau (dashboard building, calculated fields, and visual best practices) or equivalent data visualization tools.
- Foundational statistics and experimentation knowledge (hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, A/B testing principles).
- Data cleaning and transformation experience (ETL concepts, handling structured and unstructured data).
- Power BI or Looker experience.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses and analytics platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics / GA4, Adobe Analytics).
- Experience with visualization libraries (matplotlib, seaborn) and reporting automation.
- Knowledge of product analytics concepts, event tracking, and instrumentation.
Benefits & Culture Highlights
- 100% remote role with flexible hours to support work-life balance across U.S. time zones.
- Hands-on exposure to product and marketing analytics within a creative, design-led environment.
- Opportunities for upskilling and mentorship to accelerate growth from entry level to mid-level analytics roles.
