The Team & Mission


The company’s typical customers are organizations with hundreds to thousands of developers leveraging SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, or internal microservices, and that demonstrate maturity in DevOps and cloud adoption.

Its products are used by Software Development and Operations teams, Application Security, and Threat Response teams. Buying decisions are typically driven by CISOs, CTOs, and Directors of Security.


Our client is seeking an Account Executive to develop the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg territories. This role is based in the Netherlands (remote).


Please note that employment will be managed through an Employer of Record (EOR) partner.


The successful candidate will join a European Sales team composed of:

  • 8 Account Executives covering the region from the Paris office
  • 4 Sales Engineers
  • 2 Account Managers


The team is international, highly technical, and operates primarily in English. The role reports to the EMEA Sales Manager.


Key Responsibilities


  • Managing the full sales cycle, dedicating approximately 50% of time to prospecting and 50% to building strong relationships with stakeholders to close deals.
  • Understanding and demonstrating the company’s products to prospects.
  • Engaging effectively with senior security leaders (CISOs, CTOs, VPs, etc.).
  • Leveraging modern sales tools to map accounts, prospect, manage pipelines, and close opportunities.
  • Achieving and exceeding sales quotas, contributing significantly to the company’s European expansion.


Candidate Profile

Candidates who meet at least 70% of the following criteria are encouraged to apply.


Essential Requirements:


  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Proven autonomy as an Account Executive within complex B2B corporate or enterprise sales cycles (6+ months, multiple stakeholders).
  • Strong pipeline generation skills with the ability to build a territory from scratch.
  • Ability to size deals, assess client needs using a structured methodology, and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience selling software to developers, security, or DevOps professionals. Solid understanding of CI/CD and the software development lifecycle within large organizations.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn. Comprehensive product and sales training will be provided.


Preferred (Not Mandatory):


  • Knowledge of the DevSecOps or application security landscape, including awareness of key tools and their value propositions.


Interview Process

  • Deep dive into experience and achievements, plus an overview of the team and role scope.
  1. Business Case (60 minutes)
  • Preparation at home and presentation to the team to assess role alignment and skills.
  1. Final Interview with an Executive Manager (30–45 minutes)
  • Discussion of the company’s vision and future ambitions.
  1. Reference Check


  • Two recent professional references will be requested at the final stage.
