Position: English Translator

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $40 - $95/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Transcribe video and audio content with high accuracy and proper timestamping.
• Analyze and describe tone, emotion, and intent in spoken and written language.
• Evaluate grammar, syntax, and stylistic elements within source material.
• Define words, phrases, and concepts to ensure clarity and understanding.
• Perform advanced language tasks including translation, adaptation, and semantic analysis.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high linguistic quality standards.
• Meet project deadlines while ensuring precision and attention to detail.
  
  

Requirements

• Native-level English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong experience in translation, linguistics, or related language fields.
• Experience transcribing and annotating multimedia content.
• Deep understanding of grammar, syntax, and language structures.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret tone, emotion, and intent.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
