Position: English Linguistics Specialist – AI Trainer

Type: Hourly Contract (Remote)

Compensation: $32–$/65hr (based on experience)

Location: Remote

Duration: 10–40 hours/week, flexible and asynchronous

Requirements

• Expert command of English grammar, syntax, semantics, and usage
• Strong background in linguistic analysis and language annotation
• High attention to detail when identifying subtle linguistic errors and edge cases
• Familiarity with AI language models, NLP concepts, or language annotation workflows
• Ability to evaluate tone, intent, clarity, and contextual correctness
• Strong written English with the ability to explain linguistic decisions clearly
• Comfortable working with online annotation tools and AI evaluation platforms
• Ability to work independently while collaborating asynchronously with remote teams
  
  

Role Responsibilities

• Analyze, annotate, and correct English-language data used to train AI models
• Perform detailed linguistic analysis to improve AI understanding of grammar and meaning
• Review AI-generated text for fluency, correctness, and linguistic precision
• Identify errors in syntax, semantics, ambiguity, or stylistic consistency
• Provide clear written feedback explaining linguistic issues and recommended improvements
• Help define and maintain annotation guidelines and quality standards
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to improve AI language performance
