Position: Phonetics Expert

Type: Contract (Full-Time or Part-time)

Compensation: $40–$95/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Minimum 15 hours per week

Role Responsibilities

• Transcribe video content with high accuracy, clearly marking timestamps and speaker cues
• Analyze emotional tone, intent, and expressiveness of speakers in multimedia content
• Evaluate and document grammatical structures and language patterns
• Define and explain key words and phrases with attention to conceptual and contextual meaning
• Produce clear written and verbal reports focused on linguistic accuracy and depth
• Collaborate with teams on advanced phonetic and language analysis tasks
• Maintain strict quality, consistency, and documentation standards
  
  

Requirements

• Native-level English proficiency with strong written and spoken communication skills
• Advanced understanding of phonetics, phonology, and language analysis
• Proven experience in transcription with meticulous attention to timestamps and detail
• Ability to accurately interpret emotion, tone, and intent in spoken language
• Strong grasp of grammar, semantics, and language usage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Availability to commit at least 15 hours per week
