We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and build in our SRV/BI product area. This role blends hands-on fullstack engineering with team leadership.

In this role, you’ll drive the technical direction and day-to-day execution, while helping the team deliver predictably and sustainably. You’ll partner closely with our CPO and collaborate with our CTO on technical direction, compliance, and security.
What you’ll do
- Drive technical excellence through hands-on engineering (Python/Django)
- Set and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and maintainability.
- Create clarity in team goals, sprint planning, delivery expectations, and responsibilities together with the CPO.
- Translate business needs into actionable technical priorities in close collaboration with Product.
- Collaborate closely with the CTO on technical direction/vision, compliance, and security.
- Enable a healthy, high-performing team culture with coaching, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, onboard, and support engineers with feedback, development plans, and clear expectations.
Skills & Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is
- Strong hands-on engineer with Python/Django experience.
- Confident in software architecture, system design, and scaling backend services.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product and other engineering teams.
- Used to moving fast in a high-growth environment - pragmatic, steady, and outcome-focused.
- A clear communicator who leads with empathy, builds trust, and creates psychological safety.
- Proactive and ownership-driven: you take initiative and own outcomes end-to-end.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience leading or mentoring engineers.
- Familiarity with AWS.
- Experience from SaaS (HR tech or workflow-heavy products is a plus).
