Role Description
H2Tab is seeking an Email Designer to primarily own the visual execution of all email creative across campaigns, product launches, and automated flows.
This is a highly execution-focused role responsible for translating brand storytelling, product positioning, and campaign strategy into visually compelling, conversion-driven email experiences.
The ideal candidate has a refined aesthetic, strong attention to detail, and the ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality. You understand how to balance creative expression with performance, and how to build scalable systems that support speed, consistency, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
01/ Email Design + Execution
- Design visually compelling, on-brand emails across campaigns, product launches, and automated flows
- Translate creative briefs into clear, conversion-focused layouts with strong hierarchy and flow
- Execute quickly while maintaining a high level of design quality and consistency
- Ensure all email designs are optimized for both mobile and desktop experiences
02/ Creative Development + Storytelling
- Select and crop imagery (lifestyle, product, texture, detail shots) with a strong editorial eye
- Create custom graphics, icons, and simple illustrations to enhance storytelling
- Apply and uphold H2Tab’s brand standards, tone, and visual identity across all email creative
- Collaborate closely with copy, marketing, and creative teams to bring campaigns to life
03/ Template Systems + Scalability
- Build, maintain, and evolve email templates and modular design systems
- Create scalable design frameworks that improve speed, consistency, and output quality
- Ensure consistency across campaigns while allowing flexibility for creative variation
04/ Cross-Channel Support + Consistency
- Support occasional social or cross-channel design needs as required
- Ensure visual consistency across email and other marketing touchpoints
- Collaborate with the broader creative team to maintain a cohesive brand experience
Skills + Qualifications
01/ Preferred Experience
- 3+ years of email or digital design experience, preferably within DTC, wellness, beauty, or lifestyle brands
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, hierarchy, and conversion-focused design
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
02/ Creative + Technical Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma (primary design tool)
- Strong visual storytelling ability with a refined, modern aesthetic
- Exceptional attention to detail across spacing, alignment, and consistency
- Strong photo selection and editing instincts with an eye for premium vs. generic visuals
- Experience creating icons, simple illustrations, and graphic elements
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-device rendering
- Experience with motion or light animation (GIFs, subtle movement in emails)
03/ Work style + Mindset
- Fast, proactive, and solutions-oriented
- Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and leadership teams
- Able to balance speed with quality in a high-output environment
