Electronics Lead / Industrial Design Lead (Remote) – Build the Future of Modular AI Tech
We are now building our accelerator team and looking for two domain leaders to join us:
- Electronics Lead (Hardware Systems)
- Industrial Design Lead (Product & CMF)
These are internship positions with lead-level responsibility. You will not only drive execution in your domain but also recruit and manage your own team, define roles and tasks, and ensure deliverables. The internship is unpaid, but there is a high probability of transition into a paid senior role once external funding is secured.
About the Roles:
Electronics Lead
- Lead the electronics domain: PCB, chipset, drivers, RF, batteries, ANC.
- Recruit and manage a small electronics team (engineers, interns, partners).
- Define roles and tasks and guide them to results.
- Validate Bluetooth 5.4, modular battery fit & cycle performance, and acoustic quality.
- Coordinate with suppliers for PCB fabrication, batteries, and drivers.
- Ensure prototype readiness for certification and manufacturing.
Industrial Design Lead
- Own Arfve’s product design vision: finalize CMF (White, Black, Metal, Recycled), ergonomics, and CAD approval.
- Recruit and manage a design team (CMF Designer, Mechanical Designer, Design Engineer).
- Define roles and tasks, ensuring design work flows into manufacturing.
- Deliver final CAD package and CMF sheets + prototypes.
- Keep design intent in-house (Arfve’s DNA).
- Align design with sustainability, modularity, and Scandinavian minimalism.

Who We’re Looking For
- Relevant knowledge and/or experience in electronics or industrial design (depending on role).
- Ability to recruit, structure, and manage a small team.
- Strong attitude, commitment, and mindset — self-starter, ownership-driven, can-do approach.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup/accelerator environment.
- Committed to an unpaid internship now, with a clear transition path into a paid senior role.
