Company Description

Marcella, one of America’s fastest-growing fashion brands selling women’s designer minimalist essentials, is looking to hire an E-commerce Product Coordinator in the U.S. — a critical role on its 13-person global marketing team.

We’re interested in hearing from candidates with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to curate visual materials. You should be a creative, highly organized, positive individual with demonstrated experience managing the day-to-day operations of a Shopify eCommerce site, as well as (ideally) experience with Disco, CommerceHub, and/or Oracle NetSuite.

NYC-designed and European-handcrafted, Marcella is a next-generation 1-for-1 brand where every major facet of its operation (design, production approach, sustainability, social impact) advances women and girls globally. At the heart of this approach is the School Days Project: for every order Marcella sells, the brand supports 3 days of school for a marginalized girl around the world (with over 1 million school days supported globally so far).

Role Description

The E-commerce Product Coordinator will own the execution and optimization of Marcella’s product listings across all digital sales channels, including our Shopify website and marketplace/drop-shipping partners. This role is responsible for managing the product catalog, ensuring accurate product data, a clean backend structure, best-in-class PDPs, and seamless product launches—while maintaining SEO compliance and channel-specific requirements.

Reporting to the Senior E-commerce Manager, this position will work cross-functionally with creative, copy, design, production, and merchandising to bring products to market with speed, accuracy, and consistency. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in Shopify catalog operations, with strong judgment around site standards, launch readiness, and customer-facing product presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Product Catalog & Backend Management

  • Own day-to-day product catalog management, including product setup, variants, pricing, tags, collections, and metafields.
  • Create, update, and maintain product listings for new styles, restocks, preorders, and relists.
  • Ensure product data accuracy to support merchandising, filtering, reporting, and site performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and in-stock rates for key products, launches, and promoted categories.
  • Build and maintain Shopify collections to support marketing and site strategy needs.

Outputs: Clean Shopify taxonomy, accurate product data, consistent backend structure.

PDP Creation & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build complete, conversion-ready PDPs including titles, descriptions, variant naming, key attributes, fit/fabric/care details, and imagery sequencing.
  • Partner cross-functionally with copy, creative, design, production, and merchandising to gather accurate product details and assets.
  • Ensure PDP content and presentation align with brand standards and best-in-class product storytelling.

Outputs: High-quality PDPs with accurate, consistent content and imagery.

Marketplace Listing Execution

  • Create and maintain product listings for marketplace partners.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to resolve listing errors, rejections, or feed issues.

Outputs: On-time uploads, fewer rejections, consistent brand presentation across partners.

Product Launch Planning & Execution

  • Own execution of launches and drops end-to-end (from backend setup → go-live → QA).
  • Maintain a repeatable launch checklist (inventory, publish settings, collection placement, SEO, imagery, pricing).
  • Conduct pre-launch and post-launch QA to ensure everything is accurate and functioning.

Outputs: Seamless launches, minimal errors, faster issue resolution.

SEO Execution & Content Optimization

  • Execute SEO best practices and implement recommendations from the SEO agency.
  • Maintain SEO consistency across PDPs and collection structure.

Outputs: Improved SEO hygiene and reduced technical SEO regressions from site updates.

Collaboration

  • Work closely within cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and ensure eCommerce outcomes align with overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with both U.S.- and Europe-based coworkers at all levels of the organization.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Shopify eCommerce role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Aptitude to learn quickly and adopt new software and technology.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in a fast-paced environment with limited information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketplace/dropshipping platforms (Mirakl, CommerceHub, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience in the fashion industry is a plus.
  • Motivation to work with a longer-term commitment within a dynamically growing, family-owned company.

Benefits

  • $55K-$65K + yearly performance-based bonus.
  • Health and dental insurance.
  • 401(k) with employer match.
  • Paid time off for vacation and sick days.
  • Employee discounts on Marcella products.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth.

Thank you for your time, consideration, and interest in joining the Marcella Team.
