Overview
Hyer Boots is looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented E-Commerce Manager to own and optimize the digital shopping experience across our DTC site (Shopify). This person should be equally comfortable thinking strategically about the E-Commerce roadmap as they are getting into the weeds — updating product pages, collaborating with UX and developers, setting up A/B tests, and diving into performance metrics.

Hyer Boots is looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented E-Commerce Manager to own and optimize the digital shopping experience across our DTC site (Shopify). This person should be equally comfortable thinking strategically about the E-Commerce roadmap as they are getting into the weeds — updating product pages, collaborating with UX and developers, setting up A/B tests, and diving into performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of HyerBoots.com, including ownership over product pages, site content, and merchandising.
- Take ownership of ideas from concept to execution — including hypothesis development, strategy, implementation, and testing.
- Provide strategic input on the product roadmap based on past experience and industry best practices.
- Own the A/B testing roadmap, including test setup, execution, and analysis using data-driven insights.
- Effectively manage outsourced UX and development teams to deliver high-quality, on-time work.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing partners to ensure accurate tracking and proper content feeds.
- Analyze and report on website performance, including conversion rates, landing page effectiveness, category trends, and product-level metrics.
- 5–8+ years in an eCommerce role, preferably DTC and Shopify-based.
- Strong understanding of Shopify front-end management and apps ecosystem.
- Experience running A/B tests and using testing platforms (e.g., Google Optimize, Convert, or similar).
- Familiarity with web analytics (Google Analytics, GA4, Shopify reports).
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with design, development, and marketing teams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills — able to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution.
- Passion for great digital customer experiences and performance optimization.
- Experience working with consumer brands in apparel, accessories, or footwear.
- Exposure to Klaviyo, Rebuy, or other eCommerce-focused tools.
- Light HTML/CSS or Shopify Liquid experience.
- Prior startup or high-growth DTC brand experience.
