Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced EU Market Access Head to lead regional market access strategy for our oncology portfolio across Europe, with a strong focus on prostate, breast and lung cancer assets. This role will act as the primary EU market access expert, partnering closely with Commercial and Medical Affairs and headquarters in Chinato ensure optimal pricing, reimbursement, and access outcomes across key European markets.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with high strategic visibility and influence, requiring deep technical expertise and strong cross-functional leadership rather than people management.
Responsibilities:
EU Market Access Strategy
- Develop and own the EU market access strategy for the oncology portfolio, with particular emphasis on lung, prostate and breast cancer.
- Translate global market access strategy into clear EU guidance to support country-level execution.Lead the Joint Clinical Assessment submissions for EMA and coordinate the cross-functional team to deliver high quality submissions and good outcomes
- Shape pricing, reimbursement, and value strategies across major European markets.
- Provide EU input into pipeline development, early access planning, and launch sequencing.
Pricing & Reimbursement
- Lead EU pricing strategy, including price corridor development, launch price recommendations, and lifecycle optimization.
- Oversee the EU market HTA applications working with external service providers and the local affiliate country teams in due course
- Support country teams in preparation for HTA submissions, negotiations, and payer interactions.
- Ensure alignment between clinical value, evidence generation, and payer requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a key strategic partner to EU Commercial, Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Global Market Access teams.
- Contribute to value story development, core value dossiers, and payer-facing materials.
- Align closely with Medical Affairs on evidence plans to support access in prostate, breast, lung cancer and other cancers
Launch & Lifecycle Support
- Play a central role in EU launch readiness, ensuring access risks and opportunities are identified early.
- Support post-launch optimization, including new indications, label expansions, and LOE planning.
- Monitor and interpret evolving EU access, HTA, and policy trends, particularly in oncology.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure market access activities are compliant with applicable regulations, codes, and company policies.
- Support best-practice sharing and consistent access standards across EU markets.
Your Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MSc, MBA, PhD, PharmD) preferred.
- 8–10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience, with a strong focus on market access roles,
- Oncology experience required, particularly in EU launch or HTA-facing roles.
- Experience operating at EU / regional level, either directly or in close collaboration with regional teams.
- Solid understanding of major EU HTA and pricing environments (e.g., Germany, France, UK, Italy, Spain).
- Experience working in a hands-on, matrixed environment without direct line management.
