Director of Strategic Accounts – Nordics (m/f/d) – Sweden
Are you an experienced enterprise sales professional passionate about driving growth in the automotive and mobility sector? Our client, an innovative technology company delivering cloud-based AI and data-driven solutions for connected vehicles and smart mobility, is looking for a Director of Strategic Accounts to manage and expand key accounts in the Nordics, with potential exposure to Turkey. This is a brand-new, high-impact role with strong growth opportunities.
Your role
As Director of Strategic Accounts, you will focus on maximizing value and expanding relationships in existing strategic accounts, initially taking ownership of a portfolio of four high-profile clients. You will:
- Build and strengthen relationships with senior executives and decision-makers within automotive, industrial, and connected mobility organizations.
- Drive growth through cross-selling and upselling, moving from cybersecurity-focused offerings to quality, analytics, and AI-driven solutions.
- Develop account strategies that align customer initiatives with business objectives, ensuring measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Technical) and external partners (SIs, MSSPs, technology vendors) to accelerate adoption and deliver maximum impact.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding the customer’s strategic priorities, ongoing projects, and long-term roadmap.
- Maintain deep knowledge of product capabilities, competitive landscape, and industry trends to communicate value effectively.
Your profile
- 10+ years of enterprise B2B solution sales experience, ideally within technology, software, or data-driven/AI platforms.
- Proven track record of selling into automotive OEMs, industrial clients, or connected mobility organizations.
- Experience in solution selling, consultative sales, or target account management, ideally with MEDDPICC or similar methodologies.
- Familiarity with data-driven solutions, AI platforms, or analytics tools; cybersecurity experience is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in high-growth, agile, or scale-up environments.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
- Location: preferably Gothenburg area, but remote within the Stockholm–Gothenburg–Malmö triangle is possible.
