We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our sales team, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with experience in B2B and/or B2C healthcare technology sales and a passion for leveraging data-driven strategies to optimize performance.
Duties and responsibilities
As a Director of Sales & Marketing, you will have the following primary duties and responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy aligned with company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and milestones to measure success and optimize team performance.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and key customer relationships.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic planning, market analysis, and execution.
Marketing & Brand Growth
- Oversee the development of marketing campaigns, digital strategies, and brand positioning efforts.
- Collaborate with product teams to refine messaging and enhance product-market fit.
- Work with content and creative teams to develop impactful sales and marketing materials.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to keep Xandar Kardian at the forefront of innovation.
CRM & Sales Operations
- Ensure the effective use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (e.g., HubSpot, Microsoft CRM) to track leads, manage the sales pipeline, and enhance forecasting accuracy.
- Establish and optimize sales workflows and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions, optimize conversion rates, and improve customer acquisition strategies.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, and product teams to align goals and strategies.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in healthcare technology, B2B SaaS, or MedTech industries.
- Proven experience leading and scaling sales teams with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong ability to set and track KPIs, analyze data, and optimize sales strategies.
- Expertise in CRM tools (Microsoft CRM, HubSpot, or equivalent) and sales automation technologies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and ability to execute at both tactical and strategic levels.
- Experience managing marketing initiatives, lead generation campaigns, and brand positioning strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (MBA Preferred)
Working Conditions
- Hybrid Work in Toronto Office or Remote.
- Occasional travel required within North America.
- Flexibility in working occasional non-traditional hours (including evenings, mornings and/or weekends) required.
