As a Director of Project Management, you will lead and oversee multiple project managers, ensuring the successful execution of clinical projects while meeting operational, financial, and quality objectives. You will provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and direction to your team, helping them navigate project planning, risk management, and problem-solving in a dynamic and highly regulated environment. This role offers the opportunity to influence organizational practices, foster professional development, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders. You will work with cross-functional teams, maintain oversight of clinical deliverables, and support the growth of your staff while driving excellence in service delivery. Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the execution and conduct of clinical studies managed by project managers reporting to you
  • Provide proactive guidance and direction in project planning, execution, review, and risk mitigation
  • Support problem-solving, customer management, and adherence to operational and contractual obligations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop project management staff to ensure professional growth and high team performance
  • Monitor project metrics, timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements to achieve quality and financial targets
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and across departments


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing (RN), or equivalent relevant qualification
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within clinical research or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of clinical research regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Thorough understanding of the clinical drug development process
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results through others, meeting quality, time, and financial goals
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational capabilities
