EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- BS/BA Required, Masters/MBA preferred.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in commercial operations experience within a multidisciplinary global environment.
- Demonstration of capacity for strategic thinking plus strong analysis skills and a creative/innovative approach to problem solving.
- Experience working in a matrix environment, preferably a global organization, with proven ability to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally in a respectful and collaborative manner.
REQUIRED:
- Experience in the vaccine / pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with managing/ leading commercial operations and process improvement for a country/region/global
- Experience in forecasting and / or above country forecasting processes would be beneficial
- Experience with launching or managing launch/life-cycle management activities for a cross-functional organization
- Proficiency with MS suite tools, including Office and Project; fluid use of SharePoint
- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing and growing business environment
- Fluency in spoken and written English, other languages useful
OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE:
- Support the commercialization of Qdenga in travel markets
- Lead the EUCAN CSEE & new launch markets (Netherlands; Belgium; Austria, Switzerland, Poland; Czech Republic & Israel)
- Support the Center of Excellence (CoE) for global strategic assumptions & forecasting
- Support the regions and LOCs to enhance commercial capabilities

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead and support the Central and South-Eastern European (CSEE countries: Netherlands; Belgium; Austria, Switzerland, Poland; Czech Republic & Israel etc.) & other EUCAN new launch markets.
- Lead and manage EUCAN sales reporting with support of a vendor.
- Lead the development and support of data repositories for the EUCAN region.
- Support data repository maintenance for the VBU Commercial team.
- Support EUCAN travel LOC engagements by scheduling, planning, coordinated and minuting meetings.
- Support the forecasting processes (Mid-year review process -MRP; Long Range Forecasting Process – LRF) for EUCAN and potentially other markets.
- Support key growth initiatives in line with the needs and requirements of travel LOCs.
- Liaise closely with VBU and EUCAN functional counterparts to support travel market needs, including medical, access, marketing and supply functions.
Job Description / Role Profile:
- Support the commercialization of Qdenga in travel markets.
- Manage EUCAN sales report development with the input from LOCs and the support of a vendor. Initiate periodic format revisions and update accordingly.
- Develop and / or migrate data repositories with the purpose of creating a history bank for all key events including housing of meeting materials (VRLT; Community Forum) and presentations such as business reviews, LOC brand plans; listing and tracking of clinical recommendations etc.
- Support EUCAN travel LOC engagements by scheduling, planning, coordinating and minuting meetings.
- Support key growth initiatives in line with the needs and requirements of travel LOCs.
- Support the logistics of coordinating activities related to key regional congresses in collaboration with the host EUCAN LOC.
- Liaise closely with VBU and EUCAN functional counterparts to support travel market needs, including medical, access, and marketing.
- Lead the EUCAN CSEE and the Wave 3 Launch LOC needs
- (CSEE Countries: Netherlands; Belgium; Austria, Switzerland, Poland; Czech Republic & Isreal)
- Oversee LOCs in identifying marketing and stock needs and support or channel requests to the appropriate persons
Support will also include, yet not be limited to:
- Tracking sales against forecast and allocation,
- Advise stock change requests and stock rotation within EUCAN as needed
Support the development of the global strategic assumptions and forecasting process EUCAN Support
- Support the bottom-up forecasting in travel LOCs
- Key liaison to EUCAN LOCs to ensure appropriate interpretation of global strategic assumptions and submission to ABP (Agile Business Planning Tool – Takeda wide LOC forecasting tool)
- Engage EUCAN LOCs to support and verify MRP and LRF forecasts
Global Support:
- Develop presentations to support global strategic assumptions
- Prepare year-over-year MRP and LRF forecast comparison for leadership review and input
- Support the regions and LOCs (beyond EUCAN) to enhance commercial capabilities as needed
