Introduction:

Streamliners create healthier communities by making complicated systems easier to work in - so people can get the support they need when they need it. We bring together the right people - on the ground and in the system - to co-design guidance that’s practical, equitable, and useful.

We are a purpose-led organisation - improving the health and wellbeing of people around the world. We’re driven to grow our membership base so that more people can benefit from more connected systems, and we can continue to scale and develop our offering.

Headquartered in Christchurch, we work with over 50 organisations throughout New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada, supporting each to collaborate at regional, state, national, and international levels through networks such as the well-established HealthPathways network.

Description:

This role offers a unique opportunity to expand and strengthen the success of HealthPathways in Canada. As the Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will champion HealthPathways as a key driver of healthcare transformation, work closely with health system leaders, and guide innovative initiatives that enhance efficiency, integration, and equity across the system.

What You'll Do

This role has two core priorities. You will engage executive‑level leaders to ensure:

  • Our existing members are supported to maintain the long‑term success of their programmes
  • Continued growth of the HealthPathways network across Canada

Some international travel and occasional work outside standard hours is required to collaborate with colleagues in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Skills and Experiences:

You are ideally a senior health system leader with a deep passion for improving healthcare integration and patient outcomes. You bring extensive experience in the Canadian health and social care sector, a proven record in system and service improvement, and strong, trusted relationships across the Canadian healthcare landscape.

Your strengths include strategic leadership, relationship management, commercial acumen, influencing, and expertise in health system prioritisation frameworks.

What's in it for you?

This is a primarily home‑based role with travel across Canada as required. We offer meaningful development opportunities and a progressive, supportive culture. Our workforce is diverse, and we’re committed to fostering an environment where everyone feels included and valued.

We’re flexible too - open to both full‑time and part‑time applicants. We’re focused on finding the right person, not a fixed set of hours.
