B2B Sales Executive – Logistics & Freight Solutions (Remote, California)

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven B2B Sales Executive to join our growing team, focusing on logistics, warehousing, and freight forwarding services. This remote-based role requires a self-starter who thrives in an autonomous sales environment and is passionate about building long-term relationships with clients across California. You will manage an assigned book of business while identifying and closing new business opportunities within the freight and distribution sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of B2B accounts within the logistics and freight forwarding industries
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with freight forwarders, 3PLs, and distribution-based organizations
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and C-level stakeholders through effective presentations and solution-oriented selling
  • Conduct regular in-person client visits across California; maintain consistent touchpoints via virtual tools (Zoom, Teams, LinkedIn, CRM)
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records and pipeline management using CRM tools
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account satisfaction
  • Stay current with market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities

Qualifications

  • Must reside in California and be able to travel for in-person client meetings
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding
  • Proven success in both account management and new business development
  • Existing network or prior experience selling to freight forwarders, 3PLs, or distribution-focused companies strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting to executives and key decision-makers
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM systems and virtual selling platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and LinkedIn
  • Strong organizational skills with the discipline to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a hunter sales mentality
  • Must reside in California
  • Work Setup: Remote; must be able to travel within California for client meetings
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in B2B sales, ideally in logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding
  • Client Base: Experience selling to freight forwarders, 3PLs, or distribution-focused companies
  • Sales Skills: Proven success managing both existing accounts and new business development
  • Book of Business: Must be comfortable managing an assigned book while growing net-new business
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting to decision-makers
  • Drive: Self-starter with a hunter mentality and the discipline to work independently
  • Tech Savvy: Familiar with CRM systems and virtual selling tools (Zoom, Teams, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Compensation Fit: Comfortable with $100K base + commission structure; motivated by performance-based income.
