About Avalon Analytics:

Avalon Analytics is a leading SaaS provider in the hospitality industry, offering a business intelligence platform specialized in Revenue Management. Headquartered in Bangkok with a growing global footprint, we help hotels and hospitality groups unlock their full commercial potential through data-driven insights and real-time analytics.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and commercially sharp Director of Sales to lead Avalon Analytics’ market entry and revenue growth across Europe. This is a senior individual contributor and market-building role, responsible for developing regional sales strategy, establishing key partnerships, and closing high-value deals with hotels, hotel groups, and hospitality technology networks. The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of the European hospitality landscape with a proven track record of building pipeline and closing enterprise-level SaaS deals.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Own and execute the European sales strategy in alignment with global commercial objectives set by the CCO.

•   Identify, qualify, and close new business with independent hotels, hotel groups, and regional hospitality clusters across key European markets.

•   Build and maintain senior-level relationships with commercial, revenue, and operations leadership at target accounts.

•   Develop a structured approach to pipeline generation, including strategic outreach, industry partnerships, and event representation.

•   Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation to contract signature, ensuring deal quality and commercial viability.

•   Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success to align regional needs with platform capabilities and go-to-market messaging.

•   Represent Avalon Analytics at major European hospitality and travel technology events, building visibility and credibility in the market.

•   Provide the CCO with regular reporting on pipeline status, deal progression, market intelligence, and competitive dynamics.

•   Where relevant, recruit and develop junior sales talent to support regional scale.

Qualifications:

•   Proven experience in a senior sales or business development role within SaaS, hospitality technology, or hotel commercial operations.

•   Strong existing network across European hotel groups, management companies, or hospitality technology ecosystems.

•   Deep understanding of hotel revenue management, distribution, and commercial strategy.

•   Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and close enterprise deals.

•   Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.

•   Comfortable operating independently in a remote, cross-timezone environment with a high degree of ownership.

•   Fluent English required; additional European languages are a strong advantage.

•   Willingness to travel extensively across the region for client engagement and industry events.
