Role Description

The Director of Recruiting Operations is responsible for leading the Recruiting Department at Committed Sports Network and ensuring every student-athlete receives a first-class recruiting experience.

This individual will oversee the Recruiting Fulfillment Team while managing the recruiting strategy and fulfillment for an active roster of approximately 50–120 high school baseball student-athletes at any given time.

The Director of Recruiting Operations will work directly with college coaches across the country, develop individualized recruiting strategies, oversee player advocacy, and ensure recruiting momentum is maintained throughout every stage of the recruiting process.

This role requires a highly organized leader who can build relationships, develop staff, execute recruiting strategies, and operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about baseball, enjoys mentoring others, and is committed to helping student-athletes achieve their goal of playing college baseball.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage CSN's Recruiting Operations Department.
  • Oversee and develop the Recruiting Fulfillment Team while driving accountability and performance.
  • Manage the recruiting strategy and fulfillment for an active roster of approximately 50–120 high school baseball student-athletes at any given time.
  • Conduct onboarding calls with newly enrolled student-athletes and their families, setting expectations and outlining the recruiting process.
  • Research, evaluate, and prepare individualized target school lists based on each athlete's academic profile, athletic ability, geographic preferences, and recruiting goals.
  • Develop individualized recruiting strategies based on player performance, recruiting interest, and long-term goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with college coaches at the NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, and Junior College levels.
  • Personally advocate for student-athletes through phone calls, email communication, and strategic follow-up with college coaches.
  • Review player performances, video, statistics, and recruiting updates to identify new recruiting opportunities.
  • Ensure every athlete has a clear recruiting strategy, documented next steps, and consistent communication throughout the recruiting process.
  • Conduct weekly check-in calls with student-athletes and their families to provide recruiting updates, guidance, and support.
  • Attend tournaments, showcases, and recruiting events where CSN athletes are competing to support players, build relationships with families, and strengthen relationships with college coaches.
  • Lead weekly recruiting meetings and provide coaching, direction, and accountability to the Recruiting Fulfillment Team.
  • Monitor recruiting progress, coach engagement, player activity, and department performance.
  • Collaborate with the video, marketing, and athlete success teams to maximize player exposure and recruiting opportunities.
  • Continuously improve recruiting systems, workflows, and operational efficiency as CSN continues to scale.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in college baseball recruiting, collegiate coaching, scouting, or player development.
  • Strong understanding of the college baseball recruiting landscape.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving accountability.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable speaking with college coaches daily while professionally representing the CSN brand.
  • Ability to build trust with student-athletes, families, and college coaches.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and passionate about helping student-athletes achieve their goals.
  • Experience using CRM, recruiting platforms, athlete management software, or similar technology is preferred.
