Reports to: Head of Sales, US and Canada

As Director of Professional Sales for Western US and Hawaii, you'll help architect and execute the sales strategy that drives Sonance Professional's growth across the region. This pivotal leadership role requires exceptional business acumen, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to build and nurture high-value relationships across multiple channels.

You will be overseeing multiple rep firms, consultants, architects and end users. The ideal candidate will understand how to optimize a rep force for performance, while ensuring alignment between internal and external teams to deliver exceptional results for our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Results: Drive top line sales for the region. You will adapt the Sonance professional strategy to the region and be responsible for its execution. Set clear goals for Rep firms and report sales monthly.
  • Rep Force Leadership: Develop, manage, and optimize relationships with our commission-based rep firms. Ensure they have the training, tools and motivation to represent Sonance at the highest level.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Channel Marketing, Sales Engineering, Inside Sales and other regions to deliver a consistent partner experience across regions.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Drive execution across all channels — professional AV dealers, consultants, architects, end users, developers, distributors and key influencers — to achieve aggressive revenue growth targets.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with top customers, industry partners, and decision-makers to expand market presence and influence.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities, refine strategies, and deliver market share growth.
  • Sales Operations Excellence: Oversee pipeline management and forecasting within region to ensure accuracy, accountability and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Industry Expertise: 10+ years in Pro Audio/AV sales or management
  • Rep Firm Relationship Experience: Proven track record of working with leading rep firms
  • Leadership Excellence: Proven track record of driving sales team success
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive growth plans
  • Relationship Builder: Expert at cultivating partnerships at all levels
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of professional audio solutions
  • Willingness to travel: 50%+ domestically
